Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
410 Odd Jobs LLC is a junk removal, moving, and hauling company serving Howard County, Maryland. This page explains what information we collect through our website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Information You Give Us
When you fill out a quote request form on this site, we ask for:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The service you need
- Your city
- Your preferred date, if you give one
- A description of the job
We use this information for exactly one purpose: to contact you about the job you asked about and to quote and perform the work. We do not collect your email address through this website, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Information Collected Automatically
Advertising and conversion measurement
We run ads on Google. When someone clicks one of our ads and later submits a quote request, Google Ads records that a request happened so we can tell which ads are actually bringing in work. This uses cookies set by Google.
What this measurement tells us is aggregate and anonymous — how many requests came from a given ad or search term. It does not tell us who you are, and we cannot use it to identify you personally.
Ad click information
If you arrive from one of our ads, the web address may carry tracking codes from Google identifying which ad and campaign you clicked. If you then submit a quote request, those codes are included with it so we know which ad produced the lead. Your browser stores this click identifier for up to one hour so that attribution still works if you navigate away and come back before submitting.
Browser storage
This site stores a small amount of data in your browser: your light or dark display preference, the ad click identifier described above, and a short-lived marker that prevents a single quote request from being counted twice if you refresh the confirmation page. None of this is used to build a profile of you, and none of it is shared.
Server logs
Our website host records standard technical information when pages are served, such as IP addresses and browser types. This is ordinary web server activity that we do not control, use for marketing, or connect to quote requests.
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not share it with other contractors, lead brokers, or marketing lists.
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the website. They handle information only to provide their service to us:
- Web3Forms — receives your quote request submission and delivers it to our inbox.
- Google — provides advertising and conversion measurement, and serves the fonts used on this site.
- GitHub Pages — hosts the website itself.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to protect our rights, our customers, or someone's safety.
How Long We Keep It
Quote requests arrive as email and stay in our business records for as long as we need them for the job, for follow-up work, and for ordinary bookkeeping. If you would like us to delete your information, call us and we will take care of it.
Your Choices
- You can turn off personalized advertising in your Google Ad Settings, or opt out industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info.
- Your browser can block or delete cookies and site data. The quote form will still work if you do — you may just see less relevant ads.
- Most browsers and phones offer a "Do Not Track" or tracking-limitation setting, and our advertising partners honor their own controls linked above.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by calling the number below.
Children
Our services are meant for adults arranging work on a property. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please call us and we will remove it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and quote requests are transmitted securely. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not ask for sensitive information — no payment details, no Social Security numbers, and no account passwords are ever collected through this website.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
